چکیده

Context:
An intraorifice barrier after endodontic therapy could remarkably mitigate the movement of bacteria and their by-products improve long-term prognosis a root canal treated teeth by serving as barriers against fluid bacterial ingress.
 Aims:
The idea present study was to compare coronal microleakage in with 2-mm 3mm Bulkfill flowable composite, Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC), Cention Biodentin under stereomicroscope.
 Methods Material:
Eighty freshly extracted human single rooted mandibular premolars were chosen for study. Teeth obturated gutta-percha using AH plus sealer. further divided into 5 groups (16 each) on basis material used: GIC, Cention, control group. These subdivided 2 subgroups each 2mm (8 evaluated stereomicroscope
 Statistical analysis used:
Coronal determined stereomicroscope 15X magnification. Data statistically analyzed two-way ANOVA
 Results:
According results, GlC at exhibited highest micro leakage least shown 3mm.
 Conclusions:
Intraorifice play key role reducing microleakage.

Fluid flow evaluation of coronal microleakage intraorifice barrier materials in endodontically treated teeth

OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to compare the coronal microleakage intraorifice barrier materials, called CoroSeal (CS), fissur sealant (FS), flowable composite FC, and policarboksilate cement (PC), by using the computerized fluid filtration method. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty freshly extracted, single-canal human maxillary central teeth were used in this study. The teeth were deco...

Evaluation of Gingival Microleakage of Colored Compomers in Primary Teeth: an in vitro Study

Introduction: Microleakage is a major factor affecting the longevity of adhesive restorations. Colored compomer is a new restorative material that was specifically designed for the restoration of primary molars in different colors, but their microleakage is unknown. This study was carried out to compare the microleakage of a colored compomer (Twinky star) and a conventional compomer (F2000) ...

Evaluation of Topical Pre-Fluoride Therapy Effects on Marginal Microleakage of Composite Restorations in Deciduous Teeth: An In Vitro Study

Background and Aim: Since fluoride therapy is usually the first step of treatment in pediatric dentistry and it may interfere with other treatments, such as composite fill-ing, this study aimed to evaluate the possible effects of topical pre-fluoride therapy on marginal microleakage of composite restorations in deciduous teeth. Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro study, 30 deciduous canine...

Effect of Thermocycling on Microleakage of New Adhesive Systems on Primary Teeth: An In-Vitro Study

Introduction: This study investigated the sealing ability of three different adhesives in primary bovine teeth. Methods: Facial and lingual class V cavities were prepared half in enamel and half in cementum, in 48 bovine primary mandibular incisors and randomly divided into three groups and each group divided to two subgroups. The tested adhesives were XPBond (XP), ClearfilS3 Bond (S3), and Xen...
